As part of the Erasmus+ Exchange Program, Prof. Dr. Krzysztof Gorski from Casimir Pulaski University of Radom (Poland) visited our university at the invitation of Yeşilyurt Demir Çelik Vocational School Erasmus Coordinator, Asst. Prof. Ahmet DALKIN. The guests were warmly welcomed at the Erasmus Office by Betül Yıldırım, responsible for incoming Erasmus staff and students. The main coordination of the visit, the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) contacts, program implementation, and on-campus support processes were carried out by Asst. Prof. Ahmet DALKIN and Asst. Prof. Murat Şen.
During the meetings, the expansion of cooperation within the Erasmus+ BIP framework was discussed. The program, currently led by Prof. Gorski (Poland), already includes 10 countries: Spain (Gijón), Italy (Salerno), Greece (Thessaloniki), Hungary (Budapest), Romania (Craiova), Ukraine (Ivano-Frankivsk), Poland (Radom), Lithuania (Vilnius), Latvia (Jelgava), and Kazakhstan (Almaty). Following evaluations, it was agreed that Ondokuz Mayıs University would join the BIP consortium as the 11th partner from Türkiye.
It was also decided that students from Yeşilyurt Demir Çelik Vocational School will be sent to this program, and a BIP information session was held at the Vocational School to provide guidance about the program.
This productive visit marked an important step in strengthening academic cooperation between the two institutions and increasing student and staff mobility.
