ERASMUS OFFICE 
Within the scope of the Erasmus+ Exchange Program, Prof. Dr. Edgar Sokolovskij, Vice Dean of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH) in Lithuania, visited the Department of Civil Engineering at Ondokuz Mayıs University.
The visit was accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Šarūnas Mikaliūnas and Erasmus departmental coordinator of civil engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Metin Mutlu Aydın. During the meeting, Betül Yıldırım (Respopnsible for Erasmus Staff Exchange Programme) delivered a detailed presentation introducing Ondokuz Mayıs University, its Erasmus+ activities, and existing KA131 agreements.
The discussions focused on expanding the scope of the current Erasmus partnership between the two institutions, with both sides expressing a strong interest in further collaboration. The meeting was highly productive and positively received by all participants.
Following this, Prof. Dr. Edgar Sokolovskij also delivered a presentation, providing insights into VILNIUS TECH’s academic structure, internationalization strategies, and areas of potential cooperation within the field of civil engineering.
This fruitful exchange marked an important step toward deepening academic ties and increasing mobility opportunities between the two universities.
